Quite simply, an amazing album. For their sixth studio effort, the northern Minnesotans have expanded their sound with percussive effects, with results that perfectly express their geographic surroundings. It's bleak but inherently beautiful, with the male-female vocals complimenting each other perfectly. And despite its tempo, it is a rock album -- just a very slow one.
